The Burgon & Ball aerator is especially designed to turn your compost heap, quickly, easily and with the minimum of effort! Made in England, this will penetrate even the most unkempt heaps!
Turn your compost heap quickly, regularly and with ease, with his Sheffield-made stainless steel compost aerator. It has been cleverly designed to penetrate and make light work of even the most unkempt heaps and is manufactured with a sturdy wooden handle.
By adding air to your heap, you not only speed up the decomposition and composting process, but also reduce the amount of greenhouse gases that are created when your compost heap is starved of air.
How to use
To use, simply twist the spiral to wind it down into the compost heap and pull out. Repeat this several times over your heap to turn the contents.
