Biobag Biodegradable, Compostable Liners
BioBag biodegradable bags and liners and designed specially for home composting and are ideal for use with your kitchen caddies and kerbside collection boxes.

Produced from corn starch, BioBag Liners help keep your kitchen caddy clean and odour free. The liners will biodegrade in approximately 45 days, leaving no harmful residue.

All BioBags are certified biodegradable and compostable according to the European standard for compostable packaging; EN 13432, which is the internationally recognized standard for compostable and biodegradable bags in Europe.

Biobags need to be stored in cool, dark, dry conditions to keep them at their best - A kitchen cupboard or drawer is ideal. Under these conditions, you would expect them to have a shelf life of approximately 18 months.

Here's some BioBag facts...
    1. BioBag is completely compostable and biodegradable.

    2. BioBag is made from the raw material MaterBi. The material contains starch, biodegradable polyester and other natural plasticizers.

    3. BioBag is completely composted after 10-45 days depending on method of composting.

    4. BioBag has a high barrier against penetration of viruses and bacteria's.

    5. BioBag is highly "breathable", which means that the weight of the organic waste is reduced by up to 25 % in 5 days.

    6. BioBag is more environmentally friendly in terms of production, transportation and treatment compared to other bags used for collection of organic waste.

    7. BioBag is certified by "OK Compost" and "Din Certco" according to the European Standard EN13432.

    8. The green ink used for printing, is certified by OK Compost according to the European Standard EN13432.
